Hi,

I have a Oracle server with 10.2.0.2.0 patchset. Because of known
bugs, I have installed 10.2.0.4.0 patchset. It is over! I cannot
connect to the server again by net8, sqlplus and so on. How can I
do? However, I can use tnsping to find the listener.

Post the error messages, trace file and sql*net log file contents
unless you want us to play a guessing game.

Did you follow the install doc for the patchset ( in readme file among
other places ) when you installed it? Otherwise how exactly did you
proceed?

Did you backup your software and the database(s) before applying the
patchset?
