Well, it was an interesting article. And yes, all of those computers
have bad keyboards. Commodore managed to get 3 different spots in the
top 10.

However, I'm guessing this guy never used an Apple II keyboard,
because I think those are worse than some of the ones mentioned in the
top 10 yet Apple isn't mentioned at all. I also don't see how the PC-
Jr keyboard could be ranked worse than the original PET keyboard or
the Timex Sinclair 1000.

Another strange thing, of the things he complains about on the
Commodore 64's keyboard, he never even mentions the cursor key
arraingment, which I think is the worst part of the keyboard.

No they don't. I'd prefer a C64 keyboard over current messed up PC
keyboard layout any day.

Probably some Speccy advocate... Because: Where on earth is
the Speccy on this list? And why is the C64 on this list despite
many other keyboards being much worse?

Vile lies, all of it.

Should be called "The 10 worst keyboards in the opinion of someone who is
too clumsy to type on anything but a standard PC keyboard"

From: christianlott1 on

Have you ever typed on them? I did, and it's a horrible experience. The
infra-red keyboard, while being a snazzy idea at the time, didn't work
unless you're sitting *RIGHT* in front of the main unit, which makes it
a bit of a joke - a joke draining batteries *FAST*. The feel of the keyboard
is HORRIBLE. It hurts to type on them. There was a replacement keyboard,
with proper keys, and an option to use a wired connection, but that didn't
address another issue: The PCjr was "kinda" compatible with the PC, but the
keyboard wasn't. It doesn't have the function keys of a regular PC, making
things even more uncomfortable.

It's so crummy, it could've been an Apple design.
