Now see how much more international cuisine you can get in Britain ! It's a
real contest sometimes. Add for example Moroccan, Greek, Turkish, (you must
have Italian), even Swedish and Hungarian ! Oh and FRENCH !

A traditional Brititish 'roast dinner' takes some beating though. Choose
typically Beef, Lamb, Chicken or Pork. Your taste buds will be happy.

And don't get me started on *real* Italian pizzas, French cuisine generally
or just Chinese too. I've even eaten Chinese in China. If you're in the right
area the fish is wonderful. Never miss it. And you know what ? Well prepared
Chinese food in the UK tastes just the same as back home.

I enjoy then both. Indian slightly less now after a few months in India,
although the good hotels were fine. Watch out for the chillies btw.

Believe it or not, I've eaten some really good Italian in Bombay !

Chinese hower, I cannot crititicise. In the UK duck chinese style is popular,
but in China they tend to use goose more. Very nice too.

If you get ever an opportunity to visit Hong Kong btw - DO ! It's amazing. I
hear the same of Shanghai now too.

Indian is pretty common backstage fare in the UK (less so here in Aus and I
miss it). However, Indian is one of the most popular foods in the UK--my
town of 35,000 had about ten Indian restaurants before it even got its first
McDonalds. I guess that popularity is reflected in catering as well.
