From: slaskbrev1 on 6 May 2008 12:49 Hi. I'm installing Slackware 12.1 and I'm encrypting the entire file system (except /boot). I'm following the instructions, but when I'm editing lilo.conf and changing the linux bootable config and then try to run lilo I get (besides those warnings): Fatal: Illegal 'root' specification: /dev/mapper/cryptroot I'm pretty sure I did everything correctly. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Thanks for the walkthrough :) On 6 Maj, 18:49, slaskbr...(a)gmail.com wrote: > Hi. > I'm installing Slackware 12.1 and I'm encrypting the entire file > system (except /boot). > I'm following the instructions, but when I'm editing lilo.conf and > changing the linux bootable config and then try to run lilo I get > (besides those warnings): > > Fatal: Illegal 'root' specification: /dev/mapper/cryptroot > > I'm pretty sure I did everything correctly.
