( like California Jam ) Although my favorite songs by them are way different ( like Calling Occupants and Little Neutrino etc ) And some of Klaatu's stuff reminds me of Ambrosia and vise versa . . .fwiw. .. . . . and Beatles of course . . . -- John L Rice www.DeliriumFix.com

You guys really shook some very personal cobwebs loose with this one! As a teenager in Jersey I worked, at different times, with 2 of the 1910 Fruitgum Company guys, vocalist Floyd Marcus & guitarist Pat Karwin. Floyd was a terrific and serious songwriter. His uncle was a cowriter of "Please Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood", which was recorded by The Animals, Joe Cocker & Cyndi Lauper. Pat later became an incredible fusion guitarist, working a lot in NYC. I also worked with for many years with keyboardist/songwriter Dave Lewis from Ambrosia. We were in a new age/world fusion band called Shadowfax. Thanks for the memories! Stu Nevitt

I always figured the Fruitgum company was one of the "bands" that was really the wrecking crew. ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Unrestricted-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 120,000+ Newsgroups ----= East and West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =----
