I did do the 'fake' server fix but that didn't work. here are the programmes installed: All up to date: Wisbar Advance 3.1 SPB Diary SPB Backup SPB Traveler (weather and currency auto-updates disabled) PocketPlus Coreplayer MSDict SoftTick Card Export Kaspersky Mobile Anti-Virus (not running in real-time and auto update disabled) Resco Photoviewer Pro. Resco Explorer 2007 Pocket Earth and some games Could any one please help with this issue. I added the programme list just incase one of them is the culprit. A EE that teams with me, read that; knew from his degree and vast experience it wouldn't work, but tried it. Even some batteries two years old came back. It's claimed it somehow reconditions the 'memory'.
