From: El Bandito on 5 Aug 2008 23:20 Hi, I'm trying to run some old games (4:3) that don't have any kind of cheats/hacks for widescreen on my 22" Dell. (Star Trek: Armada, X-Wing, Tie-Fighter and such) The system: -Dual-Core Athlon 64 4200+ (s939) -MSI K8N NEO2 Platinum (nForce 3) -2* 1GB DDR -Sapphire HD3850 AGP -DELL E228WFP as primary on VGA (DVI gives me a 1:1 ratio, not 4:3 on widescreen like Samsung monitors) -Sony Trinitron 200ES as secondary (VGA) -2* 36 WD Raptors -SB Live! Any way I can get my old games to run 4:3 on that monitor? I know it will be pillarboxed, but I don't want to use the DVI port (my digital recorder uses the DVI port.) Besides, even with DVI, it will run at (let's say) 640*480, but like older laptops, centered in the screen with black bars all around. (any hidden options in the service menu????) or 4:3 settings like nVidia? Thanks
