Hi,
I have a 64nic+ (SN#029), which I am not having much luck with. So far
I have tried it on 2 breadbox C64s, a flat 128 and my 128T(128DCR mb)
with multiple drive combinations. When I use a breadbox 64 and a 1541,
Warpcopy works with testing (directory reading and read image). In
other combinations, no cigar.

128T(DCR) w/1571 - (read directory, no read image)
128 (flat) w/1571 - (not even read directory)
128 (flat) w/1541 - (read directory, no read image)

I have similar problems with Contiki, but have only tested 2 setups so
far. It works on a breadbox C64 (horribly slow, but that may be just
Contiki itself), but not on the 128T(DCR). On the 128T DHCP works in
Coktiki and www.prg and irc.prg connect and begin to transfer, but
fails to continue.

The configuration I am using is all 4 switches up and all 4 jumpers
untouched (all closed). I am open to ideas and suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

I think I have this partially solved. I was not reading & writing to
the uIEC via Warpcopy, but it was connected. I disconnected the uIEC
completely and now Warpcopy is working like a champ on the 128T(DCR).
I have an older uIEC-CF, are there known problems with these when used
with certain other drives. like maybe 1571s?

Please disregard this thread. Everything is just working now, with
uIEC. Contiki is just working, Warpcopy is just working. Nothing
changed, but it works. I'm stumped.

A couple of ideas:

1. How are you setting the MAC address of the 64NIC? Warpcopy doesn't do it
by itself, so you may potentially end up with a MAC of FF:FF:FF...
(broadcast) which will cause all kinds of intermittent mayhem.

If you need, there's a program called SETMAC here:
http://retrohackers.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=207

2. The "Warp" part of Warpcopy might be doing unnatural things to the IEC
bus: For example, I know that it's highly recommended to only have a single
device in the IEC chain when using OpenCBM's "Warp" mode. No idea if
Warcopy's protocol is at all similar. But for anything other than stock
serial routines I tend to just have one drive connected.

and the most important advice at that point: it will most likely not work on
NTSC
