From: mario on 26 Sep 2008 02:39 hi everyone, i´d like to connect my acu bench 8 with open vms via acu connect, but it seems not to work, does acu bench support the connection to openvms? does anyone have any experiences with that? tks for helping mario
From: mario on 26 Sep 2008 03:22 to enumerate my problem... Server, Port in Project settings are obvious, but the main problem is the "name of remote object file" the acu bench forces to make a "\" between path and @.acu -> mydevice:[myfoler]\@.acu mydevice:[myfoler]@.acu would be correct
From: sgbojo on 26 Sep 2008 16:53 put or leave the slash in and compile. It will work just fine. That error message was created precisely for VMS users. AcuBench was made to be compatible with openvms, but it was too much work to remove the slash requirement from AcuBench.
From: mario on 29 Sep 2008 03:12 still doesn´t work i just geht the error : --------- Compiling testfile.cbl ---------- --------- Compile options = -o acurfap://abc:1234:sys$sysdevice:[TEST]/@.acu -x -Fx -Fo N:\PPS\Daten -Di Copying object file to server acurfap://abc:1234:sys$sysdevice:[TEST]/IMPKPLAN.acu: No such file or directory testfile.acu - Completed: 0 Error(s), 0 Warning(s). and there is no object file on the server!! and in project properties in remote settings i can do the connection TEST -> Validating... aCUCOBOL-GT Thin client can connect to [abc]
