I have been playing with AJAX and it works very well to
update a little data, but I have been asked to do a web
page that shows data from a number of sensors with at
least 1 second (or faster) updates. The number of data
channels are 32 and each has an under/over spec. warning.
The data is presented as a table.

Any tips on how to structure the client side JavaScript
so this system performs well and is reliable?
