From: Charlie Hoffpauir on 22 Jan 2008 17:52 I presently have an Asus A7N8X-E which has served me well, and am thinking of upgrading. I'm looking for a stable system and saw this combo advertised at Frys recently: ASUS M2R32-MVP and Athlon 64 X2 4800+. I don't do gaming, just a lot of Access, processing large databases, and some transfer of video to DVDs. And lots of Photoshop. I'm typically running 3 or 4 hard drives, 200 to 500GB each, and now have a Matrox dual video card with 2 19" Samsung LCD monitors. I'd have to get another dual monitor card.... as yet undecided which one to get. I'm also thinking I might add HD video recording/playback capability. Can someone comment on how stable this system might be? Would some other combo be more suited? -- Charlie Hoffpauir http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~charlieh/ |
