Another reason to get "TV Failed to Initialize, Check Drivers" error with MMC9.16 and Cat7.1
Just found a new, for me, way to get the "TV Failed to Initialize, Check Drivers" error with MMC9.16 and Cat7.1. Tried reinstalling the drivers several times and repair install of MMC twice without effect. Trying to get video of the Daytona race to my network media device, set the path for capture to the DNAS dri... 21 Feb 2007 16:26
X800: Have 1280 x 1024 downsampled on TV
Hi, I have my TV connected via composite video to my PC. The highest resolution supported by the TV-output of the gfx-card is 1024 x 768, my monitor runs on 1280 x 1024. So everytime I want to clone the video signal I have to switch my monitor to 1024 x 768 witch messes up my desktop-arrangement. I was wond... 20 Feb 2007 15:54
X800: Have Video on Monitor / TV at the same time
Hi, I have a TV connected to my computer via composite video to be able to watch movies on the TV. Whenever I switch the Gfx-Card on clone-mode most videos show only on the device selected as primary. However there are video-files that play on both. (Can't select both as primary because the ATI-tool would give... 20 Feb 2007 15:54
All in Wonder 9700 and Vista

I am able to capture audio (analog camcorder, S-Vid connection) but the video wont come though at all or its extremly choppy, where its barley viewable. I ha... 15 Mar 2007 03:02
Do I need a differant tuner card or is the trouble somewhereelse?
Sounds like a crappy tuner card. If you want to buy a new card, I'd recommend the Hauppauge 150 series. Keep in mind that any tuner that you buy today will be useless in a couple of years (broadcast of NTSC standard television will end in February, 2009). sofasurfer wrote: I have WindowsXP with a KWorld... 19 Feb 2007 23:32

Do I need a differant tuner card or is the trouble somewhere else?
I have WindowsXP with a KWorld Global TV Terminator modelTV7131PCI TV Card. I don't get a lot of channels that my other tv gets (using antenna). Also, the frequency fine tuner doesn't improve the fuzzy channels. When I fine tune, it goes from viewable state to black screen with no noticable differance in between. ... 19 Feb 2007 21:28

Impulsive x800xt 256Mb to 8800GTS 320Mb upgrade
I was looking to buy a 512Mb X1950Pro, mainly because I wanted the extra bandwidth on the PCI-E bus for capturing Fraps footage while flight simming. (I used an AGP card on an Asrock dual sata). But the 1950 was 155ukp and I was easily swayed at the last moment towards an 8800GTS for 194ukp, especially as I won... 18 Feb 2007 16:36
