Yes. My license for 7.5 Pro expired this week and I upgraded to AVG 8.0 Pro
($20.00 reduced rate).

I'm seeing some sluggishness in the display of webpages as well as some
errors within AVG itself.

There are 'new features/functions' built into 8.0 obviously, including a
phishing feature that is probably responsible for my webpage issues.

I'm not real happy with it yet, but it's early. Oh, and I'm running XP Pro
SP2.

Installed it in 30 day Trial Mode
Un installed it 3 days later
Boggy on my Dell GX60
Win XP pro 1G RAM 1.7Mhz Celeron
I hope AVG is not going the way of Norton A/V, from lean and mean to *slow and
bloated* "feature rich".

Ver 8's been stable on my machines, although I have had problems
figuring out how to set up their firewall to allow access to my NAS.
Definitely no problems no issues with AVG's update. Which OS are you
running (I have XP Pro x64 Edition on my desktops)?

Same here, stable as a rock including updates using XP as my OS. I
made a small mod to it but I don't think that had anything to do with
its stability. I'm using ZA as my firewall and it works well with
AVG 8 (free version).
