From: beefyme on 31 Jan 2006 13:11 Hi there, Im fairly new to access, i think i have the basics though. Im creating a fairly simple staff rota planner. One of the features is to allow booking holidaysand i need a way of creating a calendar in accessto do so.Then in the future, when that day comes up, they are not shown for availability. I realise im being quite vague, but i think i'v got the point across...kinda. It might be a real simple thing to do, but i cant quite think how. Any ideas at all will be helpful, and if anyone has a free sample rota planners, it would be excellent. Post back on here, and if you have any sample files email to beefyme(a)hotmail.com. Thanks!
From: Rick B on 31 Jan 2006 13:17 Not sure of the details, but you would add a table with two fields, Person and VacDate. Then, when pulling up people for a future task, verify there is no record for them in that table for the date you are searching. Again, without a great deal more detail, it would be very hard to give you a more specific answer. Hope this is helpful, -- Rick B "beefyme" <beefyme(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:709CA2D9-9AB4-478D-B8E0-F07473A8DB0C(a)microsoft.com... > Hi there, > > Im fairly new to access, i think i have the basics though. > > Im creating a fairly simple staff rota planner.
