From: Jeff on 10 Apr 2008 19:08 Looking at a Ram upgrade for my Acer Aspire 3003 WLCI. Currently it has a 512 Mb stick and the Crucial advisor lists 5 compatabile 1 Gb sodimms for about $85+US (.1 Gb DDR PC2700 CL=2.5 Unbuffered NON-ECC . DDR333 . 2.5V . 128Meg x 64 Part #: CT456534). I have an opportunity to get a 1Gb stick locally for about $45 (CT12864X335) that seems to match the specs but is not on the recommended list for my laptop. Could someone enlighten me on what the possible differences between the 2 could be and hazard a guess on the compatability of the local stuff? TIA Jeff http://www.crucial.com/store/partspecs.aspx?imodule=CT12864X335 http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/viewscanbyid.aspx?id=654DCE4331D926C3
