While browsing www.supercompilers.com I began wondering if anyone has
attempted doing a similiar project for Ada.

Seems like Ada has enough Syntactic and Semantic information to build
a pretty powerful Supercompiler. Couple that with the ASIS tools and
one could build an environment that even graphics gurus would envy.

Sound like a worthwhile project?

Sounds like venture capital seeking hype.

Not much more then for example Eiffel compilers do with there whole
system analysis for a decade. So i'm not really impressed.

Just one quotation from their web site:

"The Java Supercompiler Version 1 is scheduled for completion in late 2003."
