From: Bongo on 13 May 2008 04:24 Hello I have three boxes along a horizontal line and need to have an arrow going from the right side of box 1 to the left side of box 3--preferably not going straight through box 2! Is there any way to get control points to show up on the elbow connector? The elbow (or curve) connector degenerates to a straight line with no control points when i connect the two boxes. Any ideas? Tx in advance. Bongo

From: John Wilson john AT technologytrish.co DOT on 13 May 2008 05:36 Just tried in 2007. I thought that the freeform tool would connect up with the shapes but it didn't! The only way I can see (works in 2003 too) is to have three sets of connectors joined up by a further invisible shape (no line / fill) I can see that this isn't easy to imagine so I have uploaded a demo (leaving the extra shape visible) http://www.pptalchemy.co.uk/connect3.zip -- ------------------------------------------- Amazing PPT Hints, Tips and Tutorials http://www.PPTAlchemy.co.uk http://www.technologytrish.co.uk email john AT technologytrish.co.uk "Bongo" wrote: > Sadly, 2003 (11.8169.8202) SP 3. Right-click on the connector and chose the connector type as Elbow.
