Hello

I have three boxes along a horizontal line and need to have an arrow going
from the right side of box 1 to the left side of box 3--preferably not going
straight through box 2! Is there any way to get control points to show up on
the elbow connector?

The elbow (or curve) connector degenerates to a straight line with no
control points when i connect the two boxes.

Any ideas?

Tx in advance.

You will need to state which version of PPT you use. This works quite
differently in 2007 and other versions

Sadly, 2003 (11.8169.8202) SP 3. Worth switching?

Just tried in 2007. I thought that the freeform tool would connect up with
the shapes but it didn't! The only way I can see (works in 2003 too) is to
have three sets of connectors joined up by a further invisible shape (no line
/ fill)

I can see that this isn't easy to imagine so I have uploaded a demo (leaving
the extra shape visible) http://www.pptalchemy.co.uk/connect3.zip

Right-click on the connector and chose the connector type as Elbow.
