Hello all,

I have two VGA monitors (a newer LCD flat screen and an older CRT) and
I'd like to hook both up through my All-In-Wonder 9000.

This seems like a stupid question, but since I haven't been able to
find sufficient information elsewhere on the internet, here goes:

I currently have the newer LCD flat screen VGA monitor hooked up
through the DVI adapter into the DVI slot. I have my TV hooked up via
S-Video from the Video Out.

How can I hook up my older CRT monitor? Can I just buy a VGA splitter?
It seems to me that this wouldn't work and that both monitors would
receive the same signal, but hopefully I'm wrong.

Or, is there some sort of male S-Video to Female VGA adapter? I'd be
happy to swap out the TV for the older CRT, but I've looked around a
bit and only been able to find Male VGA to Female S-Video adapters.

Finally, if none of the above options are feasible, what can I do?

If anyone can fill me in, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Splitter would only show identical video on both monitors if the video
signal operated at frequency both monitors supported.

Nope. Even S-Video have limitations. At best you'd get 720x480 in
NTSC and then there's the matter of deinterlacing video signal,
breaking apart the video signal into RGB signal, changing the
frequency to work on monitors since NTSC signal are a bit different
than VGA standards.

Second video card, a PCI usually will work. Some newer video card can
support dual monitor out of the box. I have an older 6200 and I have
been able to have 3 separate video signals out of that one (one via
DVI port using DVI to VGA adapter, second via regular VGA port, and
3rd one to a TV from video out)

Word of advice, multiple monitor support can make some game run at
sluggish pace compared to single only display.
