From: Robbie on 5 Jul 2008 09:33 I have been looking to acquire a sound system for our acoustic three piece that plays mostly small (150 and less) venues. I have stumbled on an A&H Icon DP1000 in good condition for around CDN$600. Digitalmixer/amp combo with a slew of effects. I like the idea of being able to lock in memory the settings for different venues but wonder if there is something newer (icon released in '98) that will do the same thing around or not too far above the price point? Thanks for any advice. Rob www.myspace.com/speedriver

Can I check the faders with just headphones and a mic as opposed to hooking up speakers? Rob
