I can understand where you're coming from.

I think I detected an improvement in the quality of posts today though.
Although I'm snarled up in this myself, I'd be happy to act as mediator
should anyone wish it.

Yes, & I've detected improvements in the past. But they were short
lived. I don't believe a mediator would work. Ever trying breaking up a
mad-dog fight? You'll likely get bit in the process.

I'm lost for words or answers. Let us just pray that common sense prevails.
