OT: which multi-boot program? HI, I use a program called MrBooter to make more then one primary partition to boot to multible systems. It is an old program and have been using it for years with no proplems. Using Ghost I can restore to a new primary partition with now problems using an image file. Asus + E8400 question Hi! I just bought the P5K-e wifi ap motherboard with 45nm e8400 cpu. Since I have to update bios to latest one to make the board work with 45nm and I do not have another cpu compatible to this board, will it boot with the e8400 to allow me to flash bios or do I need another cpu to make it boot and flash it? ... 27 Jan 2008 09:37
Asus Commando and USB issues? Has anyone here had any problems or heard of any problems with the Asus Commando motherboard and it front USB headers? My 3 headers seems flaky, cannot recognise on occasion or fades in and out every few seconds when a thumbdrive or USB hard drive is plugged in. processor for P4C800-E What is the fastest processor that is available that can be used with a P4C800-E mother board. My system is kind of slow so I was thinking of upgrading the processor. CPU Temp Question Concerning Core 2 Quad I'm running a Core 2 Quad 6600 2.4 ghz and the temp when idle is about 25C according to Asus PC Probe II, although I've seen it up to 34C with tasking. Asus Hardware issue I have a Asus P5B-VM mainboard. 2 days ago it started freezing up right on startup and nothing would work. Using XP PRO on a Vista certified board. I want to upgrade my pc with a new MB, Quad core processor and memory. The boards I'm interested in say they are certified for Vista. Will there be any problems using XP Pro? BTW, I want to do a repair install keeping my original installation and added on programs. Any help will be appreciated.
