Nagra 4.2 - mystery circuit?
Hi again folks. Just picked up a 4.2 for a good price. Came with the AC adapter and user/service manuals. Unit looks like it's been well used in its day, but everything seems to work well so it's probably seen good maintenance. There's a "black box" circuit inside that I'm not sure what it is, and haven't had... 21 Mar 2010 17:21

Need RC-D45 Remote for Tascam DA-40
My Sony Dat mixdown deck bit the dust and I found a couple of Tascam DA-40 decks pretty inexpensively in NYC off Craig's list. They both work fine but neither has the wired remote. Any leads on the RC-D45 remote? I've tried Tascam and Angelfire but no luck. The remote would make my life much easier! thanks, ... 19 Mar 2010 10:47
Pet tricks - iPhone tuner
Don't know why I never tried this before but I took my trusty tuning fork and checked my iPhone Golden Tuner to see it was registering at 440.08. I checked it against tuna pitch and it came out 1 cent. inTune A440 shows it just a squeakingly bit high but has no digital representation. L&M Guitar (the new Gibson ... 17 Mar 2010 18:40
