From: tasbbmamjn3 on 23 May 2005 08:50 When downloading, I continuously recieve the error messsage; "file on server is missing or has wrong length" how do I fix this? I really need this program to access classes that I am trying to take.
From: Erik *TMM* on 23 May 2005 10:04 Is this something you created or course you're just trying to take? If you have no authoring control over the program, then there's nothing you can do about the message... From: Amy Blankenship *TMM* on 23 May 2005 13:26 You could try emptying your cache. If you started the course and then the author updated it, it would give this error if you did not empty your cache. From: Paul Swanson on 23 May 2005 13:29 I've had files being reported as an incorrect length when I use a third-party FTP program (WS_FTP) to put the files on the web server. When the transfer is done using ASCII or Auto, the files would sometimes have a different file size after being transferred. Forcing a Binary transfer resolved it. -- _______________________ Paul Swanson Portland, Oregon, USA _______________________
