From: skeball25 on 24 Feb 2005 12:10 Our department recently purchased Authorware 7 and I need to learn it... fast! I am completely new to it, the 'Show Me' examples aren't really what I need, and I can't seem to find a book on Authorware 7. Can anyone recommend a book for a newbie?? Thank you!! Erin
From: Erik *TMM* on 24 Feb 2005 13:05 There's a list on http://www.awaretips.net on the Products page that lists several Authorware books and resources. However, there's only one reference for Authorware 7 specifically. The others listed will get you started as there's not that much difference between version 7 and earlier versions (at a Getting Started level anyway). But for version 7 itself, checkout the eBook at http://www.dazzletech.com Erik skeball25 wrote: >Our department recently purchased Authorware 7 and I need to learn it... fast! >I am completely new to it, the 'Show Me' examples aren't really what I need, >and I can't seem to find a book on Authorware 7. From: gdaminato on 24 Feb 2005 12:46 Look for a book by Jennie Thornton on Authorware 6. That will get you started. Have you gone through the tutorial that comes with Authorware? Grace D
From: BarbaraAW on 24 Feb 2005 14:02 It's not a book, but I have a CBT in the Aware section of my website to help you learn AW.
From: Amy Blankenship *TMM* on 24 Feb 2005 14:20 Barbara; Please note that your signature thingy does not show through the NNTP protocol. Therefore, lots of users seeing your posts won't know where to go to see the files.
