I heard somewhere that MS are working on a new OS after Vista, and it might be coming out next year. I'm sure I probably misread this information. But if it is, does anyone have any idea if Authorware will have problems running on this new OS. ... 24 Jun 2008 11:17

MS is always working toward new versions of their OS, browser, and Office products. What that roadmap may be, I don't know. I believe the 'next' item due for an upgrade is IE, not the OS. How do you set Semi Transparent Fill in Draw Box?
Does anyone know if you can set a Semi Transparent Fill using a Calc Icon and if so how? Shockwave 11 Active X Crash
Joe, Have you made any progress with this issue? I'm experiencing the exact same thing. After uninstalling Shockwave 11, I was able to insert a Shockwave ActiveX Control. I doubt it. Maybe using the WinCtrls.u32? But after a few tries years ago (before the WinCtrols.u32), I'd pretty much given up. Ash, I had this same problem. On IE, to Tools at the top right and click Internet Options. Then go to the Security Tab. Set your security to Medium and Un-Check the box next to "Enable Protected Mode." Apply the settings and then try it again. It will probably tell you to open a new IE window.
