Hi I have never really played a round in this area. But I need to have a song
play when the site page opens, of course giving the viewer the option of
turning of the music if they like. I have looked up a lot in the forums and
the closest I have come is, to insert a picture and when clicked the music will
play but you are brought away from the page to a quick time screen. Could some
one please help with just adding a song to the page when opened and giving the
option to stop the music if they want. With out leaving the page to listen to
the music . I just need an auto play with the option of turning of the music if
they choose. I am a fast learner so any advice would be great. Thanks a lot

Why not give them the option to turn it ON instead? Much less annoying.

Best way to do that is via Flash.

If you don't want to drive them away right from the beginning, give them
the option to turn the music on(!) if they want or to just download it
with clicking a simple link. Automatically playing music on a website is
the absolutely worst and most intrusive thing you can do - don't do it!

It is a song for missing people and a site where the missing peoples face will
flash in front of the screen, with the song playing in the background the
Titanic tune. It is to captivate, and every one likes that song, so a simple
embed would do with the option to turn it off. Could any one help me on this.
This is very important to this page.
I have an image up as a test and when clicked or rolled over or moused up it
will play. But to have it play automatically would be great. With the option
of turning it off.

All help appreciated, as I am lost on this.
