I had no problems getting updates 30~40 mins. ago.

Could be a network/routing problem between you and the update server(s).

Had a problem first thing this morning, than later it was quick.
I use the free version.

PS: Perhaps look into another possible cause.

It' s ok now, they probably saw my post and got to work on the issue. ;)

Why? You just said you had the same issue earlier. And it was this
morning when I had it too but is ok now. Issue was there late last night
also so I estimate I couldn't update for about 12 hours or more.
