From: Neil on 24 Apr 2008 10:54 I have the Epson V500 Scanner. Does Epson's Backlight Compensation do anything different than Adobe Photoshop's Image Adjustments? I'm experimenting with different settings in both applications before starting a large slide scanning project. It would be great to have settings in Epson's Scanning Software that I just leave checked for every scan, but I don't know if they are that automatic -- that is, only applying what is needed, if anything at all. Thanks for your advice. Neil

Know what the different applications' tools do (start by setting the scanner's software to get the best initial scan), and work on one slide at a time. Neil |
