From: Alex Barrow on 17 Apr 2008 06:56 Hi All, Just a quick question about SMS and Connection settings. 1. Does anyone know how to backup SMS messages, and transfer them back if you have done a fresh install of the ROM ? I have tried to copy the windows/messages folder and replace but no good? 2. Does anyone know how to backup the data connection settings, and transfer them back if you have done a fresh install of the ROM ? I have tried to copy the connmgr folder and replace but no good? Many thanks!

See my dedicated articles for more info on PIM Backup -- -- Werner "Menneisyys" Ruotsalainen - Microsoft MVP - Windows - Mobile Devices Please see the Pocket PC Mag Expert Blog (including mine) at http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/ - you will definitely like it. I have second PIM Backup. This program is possibly the best backup option for items such as contacts, calenders, emails, sms, and even speed dial info. I have performed many restores with it and was so satisfied, I donated money. Look it up and download it.
