Dear Everyone:

I have been using FORTRAN 77 & 90 for a while, and now I am
considering upgrading my knowledge all the way to FORTRAN 2003. And I
also know very little about FORTRAN 95.

What books/websites would you recommend for me that would cover both
FORTRAN 95 and FORTRAN 2003?

Thank you for reading and replying!

This is really a FAQ and was just asked before. Short answer:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fortran
http://www.oup.com/uk/catalogue/?ci=9780198526933

(And in future also for Fortran 2003:
http://www.springer.com/computer/programming/book/978-1-84628-378-9 )

for those who are considering buying this book, i just noticed that it
is quite a lot cheaper at amazon.ca than amazon.com (c$51 vs us$80).

Somebody has to mention Metcalf, Reid and Cohen "Fortran 95/2003
Explained" ISBN 0198526938. That's the latest update in a series of
books by the authors that have followed the development of the Fortran
standards. Definitive, but aimed at a fairly advanced audience.
