We have Exchange 2007 and Blackberry Professional Server version 4.1.4.3.
We have one user that is not receiving 1/2 of his email on his blackberry.
We have 10 other users that are working fine. The mail is coming into
Exchange fine. I am posting here because RIM has not been able to figure
out the problem and I'm wondering if this user may have a problem with his
Exchange mailbox. I examined the Blackberry Logs and I found this error
very rarely occurs for some users, but for the user that has the missing
mail it occurs all the time. Has anyone seen this before? I tried googling
it but I didn't find anything helpful. How would I know if the user is
having issues with his mailbox? How would I repair it?

Dave,

I have had so many problems with these myself. Mostly, I find that
each carrier has its own quirks and pains!! My last BB I activated
for myself took 6 tries and two days to complete. It was awful!

Here is what I recommend.

1. Make sure your users bb is upgraded to the latest software
release. Even if you are .1 away, update it.
2. Erase the phone to scratch. If he is going to lose stuff, have
him connect it to a pc first.
3. Re-create his BB user with a new PIN.
4. Re-send his service books from his carrier. (Wait about 20
minutes)
5. Re-do enterprise activation.
6. If issues, have the BB Server resend service books now.
Sometimes, you have to delete the ical and resend it. Can be a pain.

If I follow this ANNOYING, TIME-CONSUMING process, I usually get good
results.

Good Luck,

Frank

Thanks Frank. I will try this. I just thing it's really odd how only one
user is experiencing this. You don't think that it has anything to do with
his mailbox in Exchange?
