I use a good no of call-outs, ovals, text-boxes etc., together with
animations, in my presentations in PowerPoint 2007. While, in the
presentation mode, they work very well, in the text mode, they cluster on the
slide and obstruct the main text. How to take care ?

I would guess it's a printer driver issue. See
