Why can't I drop movies from my digital camera into a movie
made with iMovie.

I've posted my digital camera movies on YouTube, and watched
them using Quicktime. But when I try to drop them into an
iMovie movie so that I can add a soundtrack, I get an error
message.

Can anyone help?

What kind of camera? What kind of movie files does it produce? What
error message do you get?
