From: sai1 on 22 Apr 2008 08:39 Hi all, I have been very puzzled by the popping up of a sentence, asking me to install activeX when Im viewing videos on youtube. Sometimes, the prompt comes out, sometimes it dont. I dun wish to install anything that im not familiar with. But without installing, I cannot view. From what I know, FLV is part of Flash right? I have the Flash player installed for my internet explorer already, but it still didn work. I have a few qns regarding this issue... Wonder if anyone can help me out here? 1. Is the export .swf file running on ActiveX controls? 2. Is FLV file running on ActiveX controls too? 3. Can I export interactive content done in flash (Action script) into FLV format and will the script still works? And will such content be running on ActiveX controls too? Any replies will be very useful, or probably suggestions on any urls for me to read more is fine too. Thanks in advance.
