Has anyone experienced problems installing the drivers for the Canon MP600R
onto a Tablet PC?

Device is a MFD printer, and it is the scanner drivers which seem to fail.

I have tried to install the drivers onto my machine several times using both
the supplied CD and by downloading the drivers from the Canon website.

I have tried installing it onto my machine, a IBM ThinkPad X41, running
Windows XP Tablet Edition SP2. I have attempted to install it but failed,
thinking it may have been a conflict wih something else on my machine,
performed a clean install and then attempting to install the drivers again,
but failed. I have also tried installing the drivers onto a Virtual PC
running XP Tablet, but again it fails, which leads me to think it is more the
OS than the hardware.

I can get my device to use the printer, but this is through manually
configuring the port to print across my LAN as my printer is configured onto
my Wireless network, but this doesn't enable me to scan.

I have been in contact with Canon helpdesk, but they were unable to offer
any advice which I didn't already know.

Any help you can give me would be appreciated!
