From: Brian Gardner Brian on 26 Jun 2008 16:35 When a chart is created it usually has a series of boxes that encompass the data contained in the chart much like it does with a SUM function. If these boxes disappear, how can I get them back? Please copy replies to this question to brian.gardner(a)curascript.com as this is a work-related issue. Thanks.

From: ShaneDevenshire on 28 Jun 2008 13:26 Hi Brian, Pivot charts don't highlght the range when a series is selected. But for most other chart to see the highlight you must have the series selected on the chart keeping in mind Jon's points. -- Cheers, Shane Devenshire "Brian Gardner" wrote: > When a chart is created it usually has a series of boxes that encompass the > data contained in the chart much like it does with a SUM function. Shane - You can see the entire source data range, if it's not "too complex" to show in the dialog. The plot area or chart area must be selected to show this entire range. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "ShaneDevenshire" <ShaneDevenshire(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:54E9B6C6-1D84-47C1-8B96-9E864C3ECD37(a)microsoft.com... > Hi Brian, > > Pivot charts don't highlght the range when a series is selected. > > But for most other chart to see the highlight you must have the series > selected on the chart keeping in mind Jon's points. > > -- > Cheers, > Shane Devenshire > > > "Brian Gardner" wrote: > >> When a chart is created it usually has a series of boxes that encompass >> the >> data contained in the chart much like it does with a SUM function.
