From: retrocomtoday on 8 Apr 2008 10:54 Hi All, I have a Computereyes device by Digital Vision. This has a phono- input, and a sync and brightness controls. It seems to plug into the user port and the bottom reads CCIR/PAL Compatible. Serial no. 2755c. I gather that it is some sort of video processing device? Does anyone have more information on this, and also what software is compatible with it etc...? Many thanks, Shaun.

It is indeed a B&W video digitizer. It came with it's own software and there is software to use it in Geos. A little googling should hopefully find the software, if not I'm sure someone here can provide it.

I have the NTSC version. it is a "slow-scan" video digitizer, which means it takes a while to digitize one frame. The image must be still in order to capture. The sync dial adjusts to various video inputs in order to get a stable picture. I think the included software was the only software available for it. I have a D64 of the disk if you need it... Steve

Any GEOS software would be nice too - if anyone has it? Regards, Shaun.
