From: Rodp on 8 Jul 2008 23:59 I had a catastrophic computer problem and did a fresh install of all software. Now when I run Outlook 2003 and hit send/receive, I get a message in the box that Windows is configuring Publisher 2007. Whether I let this process finish or hit cancel it still returns every time I run Outlook and do a send/receive. What is happening here. This seems mighty strange to me. Thanks for any help!
From: Diane Poremsky {MVP} on 9 Jul 2008 00:03 its corrupt installer. since letting it finish doesn't stop it, try doing detect and repair in outlook. if that fails you'll need to remove the installer cache. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: dailytips-subscribe-request(a)lists.outlooktips.net Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST(a)PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM ** Please include your Outlook version, Account type, and Windows Version when requesting assistance ** "Rodp" <Rodp(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:D37F35D7-53D9-4605-A971-407D8481D811(a)microsoft.com... > I had a catastrophic computer problem and did a fresh install of all > software.
