From: EDM on 15 Jul 2006 16:29 Sorry for the OT post, but does anyone know a download source for the v2.1 update for CoolEditPro? Yes I know Adobe bought it three years ago, and no I'm not going to pay $100 or $150 for the "upgrade" to Audition. I've already paid $250 for CEP 2.0, it works just fine for me, except that it crashes to my desktop every time I try to do noise reduction on WAV files. I'm hoping v2.1 addressed this issue. Thanks for any help.
From: Sue Morton on 15 Jul 2006 16:37 You can try googling around for it, perhaps someone has it on a download page somewhere. You can probably find it bundled with CEPro 2.0 in the P2P networks. From: EDM on 15 Jul 2006 16:43 Thanks Sue. Been there, done that, everything I've found has either been virus infected, a trial version of CEP -- or both. Damn Adobe for thumbing their noses at CEP owners. This is soo frustrating. So you're saying the trial version is the same as the full version? Can I install the update, use my existing registration info and just bypass the infected key generator? |
