Hi.

Most of my director authoring involves creation of full screen projectors with
a black background colour set for the stage. I have noticed that all projectors
I create with D11 show a brief flash of white on the stage (but not surrounding
the stage) when the projector starts. This is with either a full projector for
a very simple test movie (created from scratch in D11) or a stub projector with
an updated movie (from Director MX). This is not the case with Windows
projectors tested.

My computing details are:
Authoring Environment: Mac OS X 10.4.11 (Intel)
Playback Environments: Mac OS X 10.4.11 (PPC & Intel), 10.5.2 (PPC)

I cannot deliver projectors with this issue to clients.

Sort of a low-tech approach, but does it "fix" the problem if you make a
black #shape sprite on frame 1?
