From: cwk02 on 2 Aug 2006 15:29 I've created a wee director presentation I'd like to chuck online as a flash file. Can you export a .DIR file as a .SWF? Or do you need Flash MX? ( I have Director MX 2004) Thanks in advance.:confused;
From: Rob Dillon - Adobe Community Expert on 2 Aug 2006 15:45 Neither. Director makes Shockwave files for the web. These have the file extension of .dcr. If you want a Flash .swf, you'll have to start with Flash as your authoring tool. -- Rob _______ Rob Dillon Adobe Community Expert http://www.ddg-designs.com 412-243-9119 http://www.macromedia.com/software/trial/
From: raywiggins on 2 Aug 2006 23:36 Depending on what your presentation is like (level of interactivity, etc) you might be able to get away with saving it as a quicktime movie and importing into Flash as a video. Obviously, saving out the DCR with a plugin detect that throws to the Flash page if shockwave isn't present would be idea. cheers raywiggins www.raywiggins.com cwk02 wrote: > I've created a wee director presentation I'd like to chuck online as a flash > file. > > Can you export a .DIR file as a .SWF?
