From: ytlevine on 11 Jun 2008 00:51 I have a major problem with the interface, that it is displaying gibberish in the right side panels. Can anyone help me? PLEASE!!
From: Sean Wilson on 11 Jun 2008 01:42 Does it make a difference if you choose Window (menu) -> Panel Sets -> Director 8?
From: ytlevine on 11 Jun 2008 19:00 I will try that, but I checked the registry and it is a problem in a bunch of the keys. I tried to reinstall, but the problem again appears in the registry. Is there a file that causes that to happen? Should I just give up and go back to MX 2004?
From: Chunick on 11 Jun 2008 22:46 yes, go back to MX2004... unless you need D11 for Unicode and macIntel support (myself, I won't upgrade until the major bugs are fixed in D11).
From: ytlevine on 12 Jun 2008 13:37 The problem is only wth some of the text - like the name by the behaviors in the library are illegible, and the tabs in the property inspector are also. I tried to check in the registry, and there is a problem in some of the keys, e.g. font name is the same illegible font, but when I tried to reinstall it comes back. There must be some file somewhere that causes it to happen (not in the Program Files\Adobe\Director 11 directory) - does anyone have any ideas? Thanks a lot!! If not, I'll just go back to MX 2004, but I would like this resolved.
