5-term Blackman-Harris window Hi All, I have searched high and low to no avail; I am trying to find the formula for the 5-term Blackman-Harris. Certainly there is plenty of material on the 3 and 4 terms but not the fifth. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Pikey ... 15 Apr 2008 17:55
Help!!! : large value in the Real part of a fft(sine) Hi, Was wondering if the FFT code on a sine that i have written is correct? Cos when i plot the real part, i got really large value on the y-axis. Shouldn't the real part of a fft(sine) be zero? Is the frequency axes defined correctly (f=0:(10000/(k-1)):(10000))? Please advice... Many thanks in advance. ... 13 Apr 2008 23:55

Truncating accumulator output to reduce quantization error I am performing continuous accumulation of the output of a multiplier block which has samples of two in-phase signals as its inputs. (I get samples from a 12 bit ADC which I convert to 16 bits and then feed them to the multiplier;however the input to the accumulator is the truncated 16 bit output of multiplier)I wo... 13 Apr 2008 11:08
beat counting algorithm Hello, I would like to know which algorithm I can use to count audio beats at real time, if it exist, and how much is succesfull for various kind of music (it does not work on techno, for this I know that all is simpler) like alternative rock, punk, ska or '80. Interpolation and extrapolation of almost periodic data I'm working on a "problem" that got me thinking. As the purpose of attempting the "problem" was education that's good. I have 96 data points. I desire: 1. approximation of 97th (but NOT 98th or greater). 2. interpolate 28 intervening data points, including between points 96 and 97. I know a prior... 17 Apr 2008 15:45

Mocern vs Fuzzy Controls When I was a university student, I was always drawn to Conventional Controls, that is working in the frequency domain, and with lag and lead compensators, and making pole zero diagrams. This can also be done with digital. But what was presented as the future was Modern Controls, done in the time domain, or... 15 Apr 2008 15:39
RTOS for media So much digital media is being done with MS-Windows. I don't like that. Even the special versions of Linux are not true Real Time Operating Systems. Anyone working to develop and promote a hard RTOS for media? This would be for PCs, but for other boxes as well. ---------------------------------------------... 14 Apr 2008 20:13 |
