I'm using DW 8.0.2, PC under Windows XP SP3. 1GB RAM, over 500GB HD.

A couple of weeks ago, as it worked perfectly until then, the use of DW
became extremely slow. Any action can now take over a minute to concretise.
These actions are (among others):
- Opening a file
- Click on a tab to change the file on which I am working
- Select a field to copy
- etc.

I'd like to precise again that this phaenomenon happened suddenly (It
worked, and suddenly it happend), and not progressively.

Furhtermore, while DW is running the whole system is sharply slowed down.

Thanks to anybody of help.

Very strange, this ONLY happens to me with CS3, version 8 continues to work
like a champ for me.

DizzDizzy is a troll or a bot that's been spamming the forums for a day or
so. Random "thanks that helps" replies to existing threads.

slowness tips:

Is this site defined as a Local Site with a real local site folder, or are
you using an RDS connection?

Is the "local site folder" truly local, or is it on a network drive?

Are you using SSI Server side includes?
