I'm having the same trouble. I have called support several times. And the
best information from Adobe that matches this problem seems to be here:

I have gone through many of the recommended solutions, but have not yet been
able to get past "Initializing Files".

I hope that other users will try the solutions above, and find a fix. If
anyone is able to remedy this problem, please post your solution here!
