From: Robert Vriens on 19 Oct 2005 11:15 When i install the Klamav package it generates the next errors: Unknown symbol in module cannot access `/dev/dazuko': No such file or directory I've installed the kernel using Yast. I am pretty sure somebody has a great idea -- Met vriendelijke groeten, Robert Vriens ----------------------------------------------------- Linux 2.6.13 user #313978 Virus free-av.com Ubuntu, humanity to others

Not sure if I got that right? Does that mean the dazuko kernel *module* is not installed? If not, it's a seperate package and won't be installed with the kernel by default. It's also used by other scanners like the german AntiVir (that's why I have it). If you install it, you should have something like: > ls -al /dev/da* crw------- 1 root root 254, 0 2005-06-04 01:46 /dev/dazuko -- kind regards, Jens

This is from YaST: "The km_antivir package contains the sources for building the Dazuko kernel module for your kernel configured in /usr/src/linux. Build and install it by make -f Makefile.module; make -f Makefile.module install in /usr/src/kernel-modules/dazuko/." -- Regards, Rajko.
