From: Steffo on 7 Sep 2008 03:25 Hello. Recently, Microsoft issued an update for the Dell Printer 922 "all-in-one" drive. Since then, there's no more communication between PC (XP) and printer. I tried to uninstall and reinstall with the original Dell CD-ROM, but I can't get it to work anymore:. I'm wondering if anyone had a similar problem and knows how to solve it. Thank you. Steffo

There's no good reason to use a MS issued driver when the manufacturer has its own. As already mentioned, roll the driver back. If that doesn't work, then download the driver from Dell's website, delete the printer from the printers list and install the Dell driver. Bob
From: Steffo on 10 Sep 2008 16:36 Hi Bob. I tried that but the installation couldn't find a .dll file not even with the original CD-ROM. What went so wrong and how can I go back to use the printer? Thanks, Steffo Bob Levine wrote: > Steffo wrote: >> Hello. >> >> Recently, Microsoft issued an update for the Dell Printer 922 >> "all-in-one" drive. >> Since then, there's no more communication between PC (XP) and >> printer.
