Hello,

I would like to buy a new laptop.

I hesitate between Dell Inspiron 9200 (with 17" WUXGA LCD Display) and
Sony Vaio VGN-A397XP.
Witch one is the best? Why?

Thanks

Have a nice day

While Dell has its fair share of supporters and detractors, I've never
heard anyone say anything good about Sony's support.

They look great, perform well, but when they break (or you need parts),
look out!

Everyone slams Sony support. But I have had very good support recently
with Sony. Tech support over the phone right on target and a
replacement part mailed overnight. On the other hand, if you are past
the time limit for free support, there isn't much there.

The thing is, their laptops are full of parts that you can't get anywhere
but Sony, so if Sony stops talking to you...
