Does the recovery partition restore ALL partitions I have an XPS M1530 laptop. It has a Diagnostics, Recovery, Vista and Direct Media partitions out of the box. I'm going to delete the last two and do a fresh Vista install onto the new unallocated space. Bluetooth or RF wireless keyboard and mouse? I'm wanting to invest in a wireless keyboard and mouse for use with a laptop and possibly a desktop used as a DVR in the future. "Forced" back to XP, loving it One of my laptops became corrupted yesterday. I was running Vista Business on it. I changed a battery but (duh) forgot to plug it in first, so it was an abrupt shutdown of the OS. When I tried to reboot the registry was corrupted and I couldn't repair it.
