No replies from Abit to Anand's enquiries, DFI will provide information "in a few days". If you have not yet purchased a new Core2 motherboard and would like to be certain of a problem-free future upgrade to Kentsfield, I suggest holding off for a couple of months for more details and actual stress-tests by Anand and others. The upper-end Kentsfield offerings will consume a lot of power, and some on-board regulator/noise issues could emerge. Manufacturer assurances are all very well, but 3rd-party stress-tests are even better. John Lewis
